sweet....... I'm glad you were able to get an assistant out to catch footage. very nice stuff, I bet a lower slope and a little more speed, and you could fly some serious disance. I like how the front end just planted, but there was no real bouncing. very good job with the set-up.

Well, I should update this tread...Been beaten on the buggy for a season now,and have had pretty good luck. The only issue I've been having is with the front driveshaft. I've made the driveshaft out of 2"x.250"wall tubing so that it would stand up to the rocks, but now I'm breaking the yokes on the 60s. I end up breaking the tab off the yokes that centers the U joint, than out comes the driveshaft. So I got lookin at yokes and seen that Mark Williams makes a steel yoke for the 60s with a much larger tab.I"m hoping this solve this issue. I been thinkin about upgrading from my 2.0 COs to 2.5 COs,and getting a little more travel. Ended up chattin with mudandmore(the Canadian Profender dealer) and ordered a set of 2.5"x16"coil over shocks with springs.I was some surprised when they arrived, these things are huge!! In the front I had to raise the shock hoops 6" and cut the sh*t out of the hood. upper rear mounts, nothin fancy but they should work.Had to move the lower mount to the front of the housing to try and keep the upper mount low.Did want to cut the chassis up to much. As she sits now naked And I have up sized the tires from a 40" Krawler to 42" Irocks.Got Mr. Peck to order me in a set of Inner air locks, and had Creepy cut me out a set of rim stiffener rings. And I also broke a 35 spline stub so I got CVO to order me in a set of Dynatrax axles and Yukon super joints for the front.I"m hoping now that I've got most of the weak links covered, I should have a good season next year...LOL

hey Rue what are you running for output shaft on your dana 300 I snapped my front output off and want to upgrade to 32 spline I'm still runnin the stock outputs.Been thinkin about upgrading, but with the 6:17s in the axles makes it a little easyer on the 300.How did u break ur output? Steve just put the 4 to 1 and the larger outputs in his 300.He bought parts from JB conversions.

I was looking at JB conversions aswell as stak the stak parts are a little cheaper and seem to have a decent rep

Nice aftermarket yokes there. instead of a little tab, its the whole 1/2 circle. They are billet steel? not a casting?
What do you think of the 12point u-strap bolts? Nice flange on them, but might be prone to damage easier than a 6 point? maybe not. I just noticed them there. Do Spicer u-bolts swap in?
New shock mounting looks like it all fits great. Fronts stick up a lot!

Yoke is billet steel, should be alot stronger. As for the 12 point u bolts,I like them alot better than the 6 point. The 12 point nuts are a smaller dia. so that they don't get beat up as bad as the 6 point.been runnin them on the rear for a years now.
