Well I finally got rid of the giant ugly white elephant in my backyard. Was offered $500 from a guy months ago, I said ok, and he got hold of me and wanted it now. OK I said. The view from my shop. The view from my neighbors living room, and look how nice their yard is. The spruce trees aren't growing fast enough! veiw coming from the pit. GPS towing got sent over, good local Darksider guys. Wheeler friendly too. Colby @ 880-1559, you can tell you heard of him from me if you call. Dumped some gas in it, and a battery.....and it started and idle'd on the choke. We both laughed and told I told him it was $750 now, but he already paid. should be a good motor for him. 440. oh, how did that slip in there... git 'er up there! what a pig! ;D Drove it out the neighbors yard because my wires were too low, and sent her a Merry Xmas pic on Facebook of 'nothing' where it was parked. My neighbors are great! I lost my shirt on that one. $1000 plus clickfloor install. lol Oh well.

A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush in the backyard. One of those projects that was too far in the future to even worry about. Nothing like purging!

Sometimes it is just best to cut your losses and concentrate on the projects at hand.... I've been debating doing the same with a few that I have on the go....

The days after I sold it the White COE showed up on kijiji, they would have mated perfectly in 2025. Yep, had to go, It would have sat there for years. i bought a brand new camper, no need for two. And it was right where I gotta plow up snow. lots of reasons. it felt good to get rid of it, even if I lost money. i'm not sore about it at all, just don't let it happen too much. Makes for funny pics.

I don't mind offers. But that ain't gonna do it. i found and bought a Scrambler 1/2 hard top.
the YJ may, in a few years, become a little pickup on the street. It would not be worth me getting rid of for $250...the beauty of having storage. it doesn't need to go. I'd consider around $750. i realize you could find rotten Yj's with running drivetrain for that much, so I don't need to hear anyone comparing kijiji links telling me I'm crazy. its my toy and you can't have it! lol

No fear of that you can find rotten Yj's with running drivetrain for that much all day long on Kijiji

"Kenny, bring me some of Scott's special blend!" What's left to rake? not much! That's some 'plant waste' I got from Scott. Its from the asphalt silo's, compacts really nice and hard, and its very small. That's the same stuff in the foreground. nice color too. a few good rains wash the dust down. it isn't dusty in summer, or mucky once its washed. thx Scott. (that was long ago, they had added to the pile ) Lots of room. The Bago sat there, wide open now. some extra for around the axle rack and barns. it froze on me overnite, gotta wait for a rain. Check out that white paint job. Guess where you can't see it from the road anymore? ;D Look at the above pic again. lolz. Nice and neat yard. No bylaw guys ever come here.
