I really like the old method of M.V.I. for the fact that i may miss something wrong and he may pick it up. It seams as there will be more dangerous cars and trucks on the road in the near future. x2 100%

X3, I am not a proponent of spending billions to twin highways so people don't have to pay attention. It is getting worse though, I rarely make a trip on the 103 without seeing a near miss. I hate when the reason for a death on the highway is not publicly reported, the irresponsible idiots out there have asylum. It's actually not communist. It's Sheeple-those who are inordinately tolerant, or welcome government intrusion and regulation We should applaud the change in MVI, and should be taking on more personal responsibility. I may be one of those too, might even get caught and fined. I'll learn my lesson though, and have to change. You can always make an appt for September and mark it on your calender today.

That's right Paul everyone that still wants thier car in good shape will have it in good shape ,nobody said you can't take you're car to have it checked out every couple of months ! I bet not many people did before the change in mvi's . I do everything on the 4 i own and only goes to the garadge for mvi .......i know when something's wrong and i fix it ! I think alot of people don't like the responsability put on them, they'd rather point and say ........he checked it it's not my fault!

I havent been posting, but worked on the Jeep everyday this week,, Ground out the floor on the drivers side, cut bent banged, clamped and spot welded it in . Front passengers floor was done on mon/tues. Re-enforced leaf spring mount's with heavy plate, tied into leaf mount, frame and out to 2x6 rocker both sides. Ground down rear leaf mounts to prepair for re-enforcement plates. Doing front drivers floor today, and Whipper is coming over to do the frame. Going to square off my rear quarters. Pulled front bumper off Ol'Blue, looked @ tranny and transfer case, and figure I will wait till I have some help to drop them,,,or till Im cranky and want to take out some frustration,,, ;D Will keep posted,, Da Dog

Put the BF's back on the XJ. Man that looks way better. Cleaned out the hatch area of no fewer that 4-18KG bags of traction sand, two big bags of salt, misc. winter clothes (extra winter coat, sweater mittens etc) and ice fishing gear. 200 - 250lb diet? .
