I changed the T-Case and engine oil, what a friggin adventure. I kept knocking over the oil bottles, the T-case fluid came out of everywhere, I kicked the pan holding the oil. Man-O-Man-O-Man everytime I go to change the oil I always start out feeling good to be working on the Jeep, by the time its done I am reduced to a shivering ball under it.

Put mud flaps on the Grand today. Hey, don't diss the mall crawler! Living on a dirt road sucks this time of year.

Finished putting on the home brew intake. Same idea as what Scott (Scottanchee) has on his XJ.

I forgot to update yesterday....I actually did work on my Jeep! Fixed the wiring for the headlights and parking lights - two corroded wires in one connector (actually, it was 3, but the 3rd wire didn't go anywhere)

Had a M.V.I. done. Good for 2 years. Hard to believe it needed nothing. Built Jeep tough.

are they checking as much as last year or less for mvi now? I know what the regs are just wondering what mechanics are actually doing.

Had one done today, same checks, lights, brakes, front end, tires, etc. The guys basically told me they will be slapping a sticker on it come June. The gov't has taken the responsibility away from them and placed it directly with the vehicle owner, like we asked. They said, and I don't think they were kidding, they won't even be checking lights, if they don't work it will be the owners fault. For some reason the guy gave me one of these when he peeled my January sticker off. oops.

LOL. I waited for the extra day so i would have the two year sticker. The mechanic did check everything over in normal fashion. Lights, horn, wipers, tires, brakes, and all suspension components. I really like the old method of M.V.I. for the fact that i may miss something wrong and he may pick it up. It seams as there will be more dangerous cars and trucks on the road in the near future.

Mine went in for inspection this week too. lucked out and he saved it for the second half of the week, so I'll have my two years. all I need are rear axle seals and a pair of rear e-brake cables. nothing else to comment on I guess. that made my day. hopefully will have it back later today.
