The support bearing for my intermediate steering shaft was getting sloppy. Turns out most of the issue was caused by half the retainer bracket having rusted out. I cut out a new piece for the bracket and lubed the bearing. I'll try and post some pics later tonight. Big plans for a new(ish) muffler this weekend! Rusty shaft: Hmmm... are those supposed to be needle bearings? If so they're worn flat... New piece. A dimple die would have been perfect for this! It'll work without but not ideal. Greased and assembled. Used a nut as a spacer between new piece and main bracket. Reused the old bearing.

Installed JW Speaker fogs, and Rigid Ind. dually D2's at base of windshield. Waiting for a Canadian supplier to grab a set of the new 7" 8700 Evo II's. Headlights are now the weakest lights on my rig.

I know one thing I didn't have to do to it today. That is get an damage estimate. I had three deer jump out in front of my in Timberlea last night. Brakes work great and the Duratrac's hooked up great to the dry pavement.

James Hey James, last Saturday I was coming up the magazine hill about 6:30 am and I had to avoid a deer standing in the middle of the 1st lane. Never seen the thing until almost upon it. I was doing about 80km and had to quickly get into the next lane. The Duratrac's responded well for me too. Glad your not contacting your insurance company ................. Dave

I want new bumpers but that isn't the way I want to get them. Nice work avoiding the deer. They can do some damage. My heart rate rate went up a little with mine. James

I put my winter tires on, maxxis bighorns. They look kinda small with the flat flares though. I also swapped my bulbs in my Warn lights. Now running HID, I'm going to try and get a good picture with the lights. Now ready for the snow!!!

Picked up a new rear seat (1996 Dodge Caravan). Plan to put it in this winter to fit all 3 munchkins in the back.
