yeah, that's all you guys get? 400km/tank? stocker? i thought it would be better. I have yet to get 400km/tank but every time I fill up, a bunch of the gas is spent in the woods so it's not optimum conditions for mileage. When I first got the TJ, I asked ChrisH what he was getting because he does a lot of highway driving and he mentioned close to 400 so that's what I am hoping for after some regearing. If you got 400, I'd say that's about normal.

When I'm careful and watch the skinny pedal I can get 400km to a tank. I've had one of the best mielage tanks of gas last week, on the highway from new glasgow to halifax I was pushing 20mpg, than at the end of the tank after a few days of city driving my average went down to about 18pmg. My current tank is at 15mpg right now but still almost 200km at and around half. Its nothing my protege5 (400-600km a tank, much smaller tank) but hey, its Jeep JustEmptyEveryPocket

Wow, I think I have seen 400 once since I got the TJ, it is usually closer to 340 or 350 but I do usually fill up once the gas light comes on (about 56L to full). Although 4.10s and 31s don't help haha. James

Try 4.10s and 35s. I don't bother calculating MPG. It's a lifted Jeep. I know it's bad.

I am thinking of 488s at some point in ML. Just trying to find the 2000.00. So much other stuff comes up... Damn priorities.

I never checked to see what mine gets , it's a 4x4 . If wanted good gas mileage i would have got a Smart Car and have a dull life. I knew the Jeep Liberty was a pig on gas and now with the lift and 31's on it it is probly harder but i dont care .

funny enough, I have actually seen 450 km's on a single tank, with the 33's on it. don't ask how though. I'm pretty sure it was burning fumes when I filled up. finished up the frame repairs tonight. should have taken some pics but forgot. also changed the plugs and wires. bought a new rotor button, but can't get the dist cap off. anyone have any suggestions for removing a stuck dist cap without breaking everything? I hit it all with wd-40 and left it. I hope that will help some. tried to loosen them some with an impact driver, but that didn't get me anywhere either

I finally finished hooking up the rad in the YJ. I took all the junk out of the interior too. Managed to break a fuel line. Sprayed most of the susp to get ready for the lift. Test fitted a 34" LTB on the XJ. Gee, that was a success full JEEP day huh?
