Why won't it fit? Does it just need some mods? Maybe new tabs or is it just impossible?

Xo I got the fan mounted ;D, wired through a relay, just have to run rome wires iinto the jeep for controll and find the engine tempture switch. Also bought the bplts for the rear shock mount, Picked up a new soldering iron and started soldering the wires for the window switch's. Some headway but still a few things to do. Going to start it today and hope this fix's my heating issue. Da Dogg

You are having heating problems ? No heat at all or is it no fan ?

Engine over heating, there was no cowel on the mechanical fan so hopeing the new electric one with the cowel will fix it. The heater fan is siezed so going to remove it and try to free it up.On a good note, there is power coming to the fan motor. Da Dogg

I think I allready removed the stat. Da Dogg Do you mean you have no thermostat in it at all right now? Having no t-stat can make an engine overheat, water passes through the rad too fast, doesn't get a chance to cool down. With the crappy rad in an XJ, this is more likely than running too cold.

Getting holes to lie up proved to be an issue You guy's make this fab work look too easy. Let's start adding some as you go note's such as line all parts up and drill togather before welding nut's on Anywayyyyyyyy,,, bracket's are bolted onto frame now ;D Bumper is notched on orignal plate to allow angel to come through. Mounting will now be 2 outside orignal bolt's, one upper inside frame bolt, Than angel welded to bumper and secured to frame with 4 half inch bolt's, 2 in lower frame and 2 in side frame both side's. Lower bolt's are long enough to remove and add a gas tank skid Man doesnt sound like much, but it kept me bussy all day. Da Dogg
