So i started installing some rcv's tonight. i got one side done and just wanted to post some pics to make sure its good. i have not done it before and im not 100% sure the boot is all the way on. Stripped it to the knuckle Ground the knuckle out for the new bolts Knuckle is straight here and the washers on the bolts line up with the groove on the boot. with a bit of a turn you can see the inner joint spinning out of the boot some. cranking the wheel way over you can see how far it coms out is this normal?

probably took about 3 hours to do one side. but the otherside is all unbolted and ready to go so it should be faster.

If you dont mind me asking how much did these cost you? They run just about $1k + tax... They claim they are unbreakable and come with LIFETIME warranty. Grease them every six months through the end of the shaft. IMO, I wouldn't waste money on chromoly shafts with u-joint, they will break. Jeff

up a few posts.....carriage bolts holding on your tow points. Probably grade2 hardware.
I know the holes are square in the ring tie-down plates....drill them round and use bigger grade8 hardware.
