So I bought another sled, unfortunately a piece cracked off the aluminum slide that the track runs on. I have to dis-assemble it, get the broken piece welded on and have the area gusseted.
Any one here comfortable with aluminum welding?
Pics of the item to follow shortly.

Here's the offending part  I figure a gusset on this side, over the weld and a slightly longer bolt. From the inside, no room here, swing arm takes all the space. The un broken side seems to have a hairline crack so best to do both sides.  |
