I'm going with dual mounting points on top of each hoop to help reduce deflection, the bottom of each hoop hangs from brackets then bolted through the frame, I'm putting sleeves in the frame to prevent it from crushing and loosening off. The only down side is I won't be able to (not going to) remove the brace with the suspension loaded meaning coils come out in the event of a motor job. The design of the brace is not final yet but may become a double bar design.

Why do you want to bolt the hoops on????I got thinking about that the other day after you left,be a lot easyer to just weld them on.
I want your shocks....bling bling

Heard the vultures were hovering around it so I figured I'd better get on it. Back to previous project, bolting on the hoops, gusseted and sleaved the frame, yes welding is easier but I seem to change my mind alot, I like bolt on stuff for that purpose, and using a grinding wheel as a jig for the plasma cuts 1/2" holes in a snap.

another reason he is going ahead with the doubler now is because i stole the t-case out of it this afternoon. gives him good incentive to get it in!

could you not do a diagonal bar back to the firewall from the brace to stop deflection?
