Update on the doubler, not going as planned. With the shift rails on top of the 300 and the 231 in the stock location does not allow for the clearance I need to still run the flat belly. So after some trial and error I found the most clearance gained is by turning the 231 clockwise 1 notch on the factory bolt arrangement requiring 1 hole needing to be drilled where the holes are not symmetrical and cut a small hole in the sub floor which is underneath the double floor on the shifting hump which seam sealer can easily fill. New holes need to be drilled for the 300 so it can be hang down enough to clear the floor and shifting rails will have to go back to their stock location but still be left independent. If you ask why clock the 231, the 300 can not come down enough without the 231 case being in the way in the factory lockation, 1 reason why a right hand drop axle would be better for a tj, also keeps shifting rails on top which may be prone to leaking.

You are lucky you got away with just drilling holes for the rotation, the one I made would have been major design revisions. The cable box thing is too big is it? Is that why you have to move the shifters? That was looking really promising, can you still use it?

The shift rails are going on one that will go in Lance's XJ.
It could have fit, but the floor would have had to be cut, and the belly dropped a bit. Tracy didn't want to do either, but this will work. Hopefully the shift rail seals won't leak.
