Do you want a little piece of plastic to try your luck at making one?
That is insane!

I made mine out of wood and added strong string to it for retrieval.
Don't buy them. I can take Pict's tomorrow with dimensions for you so you can make 2 for yourself. real easy

That why I haven't bought one yet! So any help /measurements would be great!

Here it is. Used it many times on Ford's and others as well, cause all you do is wedge the chain so it wont fall off the crank. 4-1/8" long: 1-1/8" wide: 1/2" thick:

Marvy! ;D Seems simple enough. I'm guessing I will have to replace cam phazers st some point. I wish I could afford a new truck What is wrong with it? Just the usual '04 ford problems. Broken spark plugs (fixed), leaking exhaust, rough idle and the noisey cam phasers when it warms up. The only thing I was concerned about was the plugs. From what I've read the cam phasers aren't bad enough to be a big problem "yet" so I will just live with that until I can afford parts and build the wedge. Also sounds like there may be a bad lifter (lash adjuster) on the right side bank But I have to fix the exhaust to pass inspection this year.
