I saw your Jeep yesterday with the top off and noticed the ends of the dash were beige, I seemed to remember you were changing the interior colour. Looks good.

Here it is completed. One problem - the grab handle is rubber coated. I painted it black also with the Krylon Fusion and it doesn't seem to want to dry. I'll give it a few days. Anyone have a black grab handle for sale ?

This is one of those jobs that after you get into it you think, why the hell did I start this? Although now that it's done, I'm so glad I did it. It looks so much better than the tan.

I have decided this morning to give up on the rubberized grab handle drying. It's still extremely tacky which is not normal as Krylon Fusion dries to a state that the pieces can be handled in about an hour. The grab handle has been drying for a day and a half.
I've cleaned it off using gasoline. It actually came off easier than expected. I just laid the handle on a rag and poured the gas on it. A few rubs with the rag and the paint was gone.
I've now cleaned it with water and a mild detergent. When it dries I am going to try black rubberized rocker guard on it.

All I have to say is Rocker Guard is the bomb. I haven't found anything thus far, that it will not cover.
I painted the grab handle with it and it turned out perfect. It's now in the Jeep.
Although I did learn early on that Rocker Guard does not like Tremclad rust paint.
