my tj coil buckets on the frame are rusted out so I made some new ones out of 1/4 plate here are some photos I forgot to take some of them when i did the finish grinding to them I built spring buckets for both sides
p.s. I love my plasma cutter ;D for cutting 1/4 steel and build a press brake in 10 mins out of some old steel I had lying in my shop

the slots in the top are for the shock mounts to go into and the c cuts go around the frame to make the weld stronger, so there's more to weld to the frame

love the craptacular press brake. Works pretty good! 1/4", eh?
Nice simple brackets, thats the hardest part sometimes, making it simple. Nice job.
For a small critique.....I'd put a triangle across the top of the coil bucket, and the vertical side up the shock tower. If your rig is going to get bigger or you jump it. lol

If your rig is going to get bigger or you jump it. lol yes the press brake worked great not a problem with the 1/4 steel the press is only a 10 ton one too I am going to make a batter one it was just something I made fast to see if it wood work and thanks Creepy I was going to triangle gusset on the coil buckets and on the shock towers but was getting low on welding gas and need the jeep for a 1200 km road trip last Wednesday and Thursday it work will and will b that this week and as for the small critique it for the steering shaft to go through

my press is a 10 ton one i brought at princess auto like 10 years ago here a photo it works good for what it is I did re-weld all the welds , the welds did not look very good when I brought it

Cool, I didn't think it was an arbour press as those are usually cast and this one was obviously built from standard elements.
Nice takes up little room when your not using it.
Nice beer holder as well.
