I'll try it that way and see how it works.

the only issues i had with that, is that it'll make a breeze in one spot, i think i used a peice of plywood to deflect it off where i'm spraying.
what do ya use for a gun? i picked up a nice kit from carquest, gravity feed hlvp guns (2), devilbliss, for $120 a couple years ago. they seem to work better then the $20 pa one i used on my truck lol

It gives a you a $700 gun for about $300

Sprayed those hard to get areas. Have to bolt on fenders and frame skirts tomorrow than spray away

the only issues i had with that, is that it'll make a breeze in one spot, i think i used a peice of plywood to deflect it off where i'm spraying. Thanks Bull it worked great! I set the box fan up in a window and had it blow air into the garage. The air passed though about 24' of warm air before entering the painting area. The air then went across the floor, under the box and pieces, then out the window. This gave the house side of the vapour barrier a positive pressure and prevented any fumes from making their way into the house. For the first time ever, there were no complaints from the bride . She said she wouldn't have known it was painted unless she came home when we were doing it.

right on. it usually works great for ventalating a house after a structure fire, keep the smoke damage to a minimum. so i figured it would work for painting. when we set up our paint shop, we mounted a "barn fan" in the wall. blowing inwards. we didn't want to run the motor inside the paint shop. worked great for industrial paint, but moved too much air to do automotive painting in the wintertime.... that's when we tried the box fan.. anything that keeps the bride happy, can only make your life better

The painting is done!! I can't beleve how well setting up the fan in the window worked!! The Door draft booth was cleared out 5 min after each spray Thanks again Bull I found a new use for Come Alongs The box turned out pretty good As did the tailgate I'll let everything sit for a day or two, then put it back together. Hopefully put it on the truck this weekend ;D

As can be seen, no matter how much water we kept putting on the floor, it would quickly dry up. Once again it has a bit of color to it Oh Well, it will wear off, last years did

Yes, definitely my favorite project on the board. I can only dream of one day being able to do such a restoration.
