Had a buddy stop in last night and say if I need any help let him know. I said I may need a hand flipping the box upside down to work on the floor and x members. He said "not with that, I meant taking the CAB OFF!" He figures I'm this far I might as well strip it down and sand blast the frame then epoxy it. Then the repair would be fully out of control, and it would start snowing about 3 min after the cab was set on the floor

Will tackle the overdrive and frame x member this week. I'll strap some old logs on the rear frame for weight(for plowing ) until I rebuild the box. Hope to have it all ready for Christmas

You mean like buying a running bike and having the engine in pieces on the workbench tonight? Just another "might as well" on the list.

LOVE your truck . Looks great with the plow. If you dont take the cab off this time it could be a summer project . That truck is worth ever minute / penney you put into it.

It's out of control. I just finished pulling out all of the interior, the front fenders, and the glass. Body work will start tomorrow. Remember this all started with putting a plow on the truck to save a few$$ by plowing my own snow

I'm running fozzy front in my CJ D30 for the last year or so wheelin it. worked pretty good for the freeness of it. Curse n stuff no issues so far with breakage. i have the 6 bolt hubs from a '79. stock narrow trac axles, etc. it won't steer too hot! might suck for plowing on slippery stuff.
its just a set of side gears tho....do it by welding blobs onto side gears and you can swap it in/out. thread somewhere in fab section.
so to fix your frame you took out the windsheild? hahah
