Looks great. A lot of guys wet the floor down to reduce dust, might help with the overspray, but I think that's too late. I painted a car in my father's garage when I was a teen, we still find things that are blue. When I did the jeepster it's a pale grey, doesn't show up much.

We tried the water on the floor during the high build, and sealer. The water was pooling, next to the vapor barrier wall . It took alot of water to keep enough on it that it didn't dry out quickly. It might have helped if I had turned down the slab water temperature so it would not have dried out so quickly. We were worried that while moving from side to side, the air hose may splash water on the truck and miss up the paint. A good looking truck always trumps paint on the floor . I'll see if the bride agrees when she sees it tonight.

We've done lots of lots of garage paint jobs and the hardest part is keeping dust out of the paint. You did an awesome job. Even if there is a run or 2 and some dust in it you can always buff them out.
Awesome job.

Even if there is a run or 2 and some dust in it you can always buff them out. Awesome job. No Runs. Some Dust. No Buffing. Thats what trees and mud and snow are for. This is not going to the Show & Shine!! Although some think it should - It's a 56 Willys not a 69 Camero I'm going to let the paint harden up for a day or two then start to reassemble. Bring on the snow ;D PS the bride just laughed at the green floor. She asked what takes that off? driving across it, I said. She said the paint will be there forever since the wagon has been in the same spot for 3 years!!! Ohhh That was a low blow
