Took the buggy apart tonight. Luckily it wasn't the trans shaft that let go like I thought. The splines were in perfect condition. As someone mentioned on the trail it was the spud shaft between the doubler and the Dana 300. I was amused at how much it twisted before it broke! For right now all I plan on doing is putting the 300 back in with no doubler and just make new driveshafts to compensate for the missing doubler. Then take it out for a romp... Who knows. That may work fine for me. I may re-gear the axles as well.
