Hello all who's interested. Tonight I got down to the nitty-gritty and ran new brake lines to the rear and over the axle, and to both front brake hoses. Installed new wheel cyl, shoes, hardware and drums on the rear. The front got new calipers, pads and rotors. Installed the front shocks as well. And tried (unsuccessfully I might add) to remove the lower track-bar bolt to install a new one. Time for "Teddy the Torch" and cut out the track-bar. Anyways I'm not going to bore you with the pictures cause everyone has done and seen this stuff done time and time before. So picture this in your head and there were done.
Thanks for watching. Darren aka The Comanche Devil

I'M SO EXCITED. ;D I got the beast running tonight and drove it out of the garage for the very first time, and under its own power instead of pushing it so I could clean the garage. (I never started it before this, now you can see the excitement) It's got no exhaust so it sounded good. Also mounted the CB between the sun-visors like you all do. Fits good and out of the way. I like it. Now it goes back to the shop to do the exhaust, windshield, track-bar, and any other little stuff. I can see light at the end of that tunnel FINALLY.

Some new pictures for you all. Towed the Jeep back down to work so I can install exhaust and other stuff that I would need the Hoist for. Removed my front bumper that I made, from the Comanche and installed it on the Cherokee. I wish when I built the bumper I took pictures of that build but I didn't. Here it is with my Champion 9500lb winch installed in the receiver. Here is the CB mounted between the sun-visors.

How did you attach the cb to the roof?

How did you attach the cb to the roof? 2 1/2" self tapping sheet metal screws. There is a roof panel stiffener that extends about 4-5" from the windshield that goes the whole width of the roof. If you need exact dimensions I can get them for you, but if you keep your screws in line with the sun-visor clips you be OK.

Ahh. I thought about putting mine there but didn't know how thick it was, never had the roof liner off before and didn't want a screw through my roof Send me a pm with those dimensions. Thanks.

Yee Haw Christmas came early to me ;D lol. Got my new wheels today. They are American Racing 15x8 with 4" backspacing. Fit good and I thing it makes the Cherokee look pretty good. If I do say so myself.

You need to remove the blue from the tire lettering! Other than that... looks good! Bill
