did you get your furnace wired and fired yet? i was wondering how you like it? looks like a very neat/clean install...the duct tape on the transformer don't look too hot...but a quick little clip should hold it down...you will want somthing on it, the transformer puts out around 10 000 volts (but small amps) ..good luck.

Not yet. Between having kids parties this past weekend, work, working on house my poor shop is being neglected The tape on the transformer is just to hold the fitting for the copper line. Figured I couldn't lose it if it was stuck to the furnace! ;D

YAY! We have heat! Clarence came by this evening and got the old junker working! Had to replace some bits but all is well. I think its a 75000 BTU unit so it it pumps out the heat! All in all it didn't take too long to bring it up temp so I think it will be a good fit for my shop.

They are awesome shop furnaces. No duct work they vent out the bottom.
