I got alot of looks... I know everyone was thinking; "wow, that's awesome!" ;D
I suppose plywood would have been a little less noticeable thent he yellow puck board... meh.
Making these did give me some ideas as to how I want to make the real ones.

Just saw an awesome set on Stacy David's Gearz. It's the episode where he finishes Ted Nugent's Bronco.

I'm glad you put the effort into staying legal. Yeah, I can't afford the fines... or a tow rig. LOL She would have stayed in the driveway until I built the real ones... but she has a couple appointments... and the truck I normally use won't be around for a month or so. Still need to build shelves in the shed, so I can clean it up, so I can clean up the garage, so I can get the Jeep in there. LOL I have to stop working on the yard before any of that can happen. It's a vicious cycle.

A. ridiculous. (but funny, nice teets) B. why not use a trailer to get supplies? C. Doing shit yourself and saying 'fawk all y'all' is a great way to live.

I was picking up 12' lumber... I'd rather just strap it to the roof... and I'd still need the Jeep to tow the trailer.

Wanted to go out and get some supplies, so I threw these on in a couple min. Don't laugh, they're temporary. When you say temporary do you mean only when you drive it on the Road? Lol awsome

I mean I'll make some quick disco mental something'erothers... so they can be removed at the trail. ;D
However, making this monstrosity's given me a better idea of what I want the metals ones to look like.

I've been pretty cranky lately so haven't been posting, but I will because you asked. I got the Krawlers on for Jam and they worked awesome... in fact the Jeep worked very well. Made me hesitate cutting her appart. All shiney 1150 on the ramp with 2" of uptravel in the rear (don't ask) Mrs Big G looking hawt!... and the last time that side of the hood will ever look that straight. LOL I guess the temporary shock mounts put them closer to the tire then I thought. Oopsie! Goodbye short arm junk!

4 hours, 6 cutting discs, 8 grinding discs, and one grinder later, the axle's cleaned of it's old brackets. That wasn't fun. and to give you an idea how much room I'm working with Frame #1 cleaned... should be able to finish side #2 tonight.

Well the yoke guard didn't fit over the yoke so I had to buy a 1.5" socket and get disapointed in my crappy little Mastercraft impact. LOL Ended up using a 2', 3/4" drive ratchet and beat on the end with a 5lb maul while holding the yoke with a pipe wrench... it worked. ;D Notched the crossmember/ skid for the new brackets... I'll have to reinforce before re-instal. Welded and primed some brackets The exhaust was right in the way of the brackets... so they had to go. Here's the pass side... I bent it away, but may still cut the cat out and re-pipe Driver's side. This is going to be an incredible PITA to re-pipe. There's absolutely minimal room between the d-shaft, t-case, crossmember and bracket. Axle's in place on tires... just waiting on a 2nd set of eyes to place and measure for links.
