Way beyond my capabilities, but looking into having one made! www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=978231The feed table... does such a beast already exist... perhaps in another application? Making it from scratch seems like the biggest hurdle.

I have most of the pieces to make one , they are really handy . We have had one at work for years

That one is a little scary to run. Gotta pay attention.
Its like a belt sander with a supercharged big-block. Works incredibly well, removes a lot of material. And its really rigid.

Delta and others make a combination disc/belt sander, works great

We have a bunch at the engineering school for takin mill scale off the billots before welding practice. Really f'in fast. For doin lots of pcs fast!
