Have you tried cutting stainless or aluminum yet?
I have an idea for the front of the kids buggy so if I give you a specific shape do you think you could make it?
I don't want to give too much info yet as its not put together quite yet and I may still change my mind.
I should ask how long did it take to do that keltic shapes?

Stainless to 1/8" is good quality. Aluminum good to 1/4".
Can't do too much detail in small areas because of high cutting speeds. but a grill or letters down to 1" are ok.
I need to draw the part to cut it. you can give me a template or hand drawing.
the celtic stuff takes a long time to draw, quick to cut, like everything else.

I can scan to a PDF, I could then convert it into a DWG or DWF file, would that speed up the process Jan?

how much clean up is needed when you do aluminum? depends. none or needs to be machined if you are TIG welding. Look at the pics and you decide. I couldn't say 'how much' without knowing exactly what you are doing. nsjc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fab&action=display&thread=38025Lance - thx, may take you up on that, its a struggle sometimes.
