C.Tire has Drill Doctor on sale !!
I've sharpened drill bits for years on the bench grinder but am having trouble seeing smaller ones so I thought I'd buy this and try it out. I bought the next one up which does 135deg split point and masonary bits as well but have only sharpened regular steel bits so far. It works just like they advertise, excellent job on 1/8" to 1/2" so far. Bit of messing to get the first couple figured out and the cd has better instructions than the manual but it is an excellent tool.

have you checked a hole you drilled after you used it. did it stay on size? They only sharpen the tip , not the sides , so size will not change

from what i've seen of drill doctors, it's all in the guy running it. some guys get amazing results, others make a bigger mess then free hand....
