Before I take it apart and weld the snot out of it This looks like some sort of limited slip? Uploaded with ImageShack.usMy question. Is this thing worth salvaging? Is there such a thing as an open carrier (like a DANA axle) that would be a better choice or.......... WELD IT!? ;D And just for giggles I dragged out a 14 bolt case to compare to the zuk stuff Uploaded with ImageShack.us

thats a zuki open diff, pull it apart and welded it....

stock open diff...nuttin fancy Thanks Kevin. I'm learning more about small stuff like zuks and 4 wheelers than I ever intended! Anything else I should look for when I take the axles apart? I plan on running front brakes only for the first while.

just check the back lash , take it apart , weld , back together with the same lash and have fun.
