Yeah that's about the size of it these days!Don't think the phrase "bears" is used anymore.Been 10 years since I rolled down the highway on a daily basis in a truck. The CB does come in handy though if you like to travel long distances in a car on trip and want to make time as the truckers heading opposite ways on the 4 lanes will usually say hello or ask "whats it look like up the road" meaning are there any radars set up in the medium anywheres' up a head for a bit? So there responce may be "yeah at mile marker 200 there's one" so when you get there slow down drive by and pick it back up after going by and carry on! ;D Used to have a lot of fun Truckin, miss it somedays!

LED lights will be side marker/blinker. Light from Traction in Burnside next to CVO. Diodes, resistors and PCB board from RAE Industrial Electronics also in Burnside. After I trim the one on the bench down some and confirm they both work they will be sealed in plasti-dip, wrapped in tape.

ohh, I'm digging this. Where is the electronics shop? I go to Jentronics, had to pick up a 50 Ohm resistor the other day for my buggy alt warning light.
Explain the components?
The resistor is because the LED barely has any? They satisfy the flasher?
Why the diodes?

RAE is at 103, 11 Morris Drive... bottom of Akerley Blvd. Cool place. Super nice clerk today. Knew her stuff, knew exactly what I was doing. Cost ten bux... those parts will make circuits for two LED lamps, converting 3 wire Jeep harness to two wire LED. Lights were 13 bux each. The white ground on the LED goes to ground in the harness. The black power wire on the LED is soldered to the point on the PCB where the two circuits I made meet. Incoming is like this. Pic stolen from Jeep Forum thread- "To my knowledge", you are stepping down power to the light so that as a marker, it is lit to half power. Click the blinker on and it goes to full power. If marker is off, click the blinker and it blinks to full power and off. I would never have understood the why and what part to use without the excellent write-ups out there saying what parts to buy. rectifier diodes, part # 1N4004 560ohm resistors, 1/4 watt I think. Note the orientation of the rectifier diodes. Silver stripe on outgoing side or it won't work. Does NOT satisfy flasher. It will still sense a blown light and flash fast. Needs ep-26 LED flasher or the 30$ USD one from Gold Coast Dist.

Oh, its for marker/blink intensity. Ok. Neat.

JK signal lights from Napa. The TJ harness/bulbs will go right in there. 3" hole saw and a bit of trimming will do. Going in the grill. Existing lights in the fenders blacked out. Then fender replacement soonish.

It's not hip to be square. ;D Installation. Done in the driveway. It was nice enough today but I ran out of light because of two "gotchas". First, Princess Auto hole saws bring on the suck. Maybe I'm not doing it right but I had to go back for another one halfway through the second cut. Hate that. Second, the wiring to the side marker isn't long enough after you feed the front blinker socket into the grill. Have to chop the harness and extend it tomorrow. Was hoping not to... here we go. trust me when I say measure both sides for position 6 times. not kidding. also get your hand behind the grill after you mark it to check for clearance and stray wires....like say from your winch. no going back now. seriously, measure the other side again NOW. After some grinding and painting the raw edges, the lights fit in and I fished the front harness in behind the grill. works. Old lenses coated with plasti-dip

Thanks Len. I missed working outside. Can't wait for summer. I'm of two minds now... chop out the rust on top of the fenders and fill in that and the front holes with steel like below or go with flat fenders... The ones I want are $500 and I might be in the doghouse trying to fit that in the budget real soon. I don't think I could do this good of a job... and it would look like crap if not this good.

The signals look good in there dartjeep!I like the look of the fender covered in the the red jeep also, can't say I've seen that done before or as least never noticed? I'm a big fan of flat fenders too so I'm not being much help to you as I can't say which way I'd go?
