Heat hasn't been too bad working on it, been a breeze and the big maples give nice shade.
Sawed more strapping out of old 3" thick barn planks yesterday.

11 trusses up, 4 to go! I'll get a pic tomorrow. The slab off to the side will get covered by a building to match what's on the side of the old shop. Is this getting done right away too or later on down the road? Looking great by the way owesome workspace!

Bad weather and being busy have slowed things down some, but this afternoon we got half a roof on!

We had some 1/2" chipboard, so this side got covered with it. Gets it closed in until the next piece gets built. Plan to get the siding on the rest in the next week. Back where it meets the old building is closed in too, and roofs sealed together.

how heavy are those sheet roughly? They are not heavy, easily handled by one person.

Shop and Merc look great!
Can you give a run-down on working with the steel? Buy it new? Have to order it? price compared to chipboard/siding? Put it on with those screws with rubber grommets? How old is the tin on the old barn? I guess if you used it again, you like it?
