R you sure you have the twin, they are very loud, don't usually recommend them, what mods do you have done to your cummins?

I sure its the twin, trouble I'm having is when on the boat ramp or backing up in a tight spot when loaded it will howl like its slipping. Still hauls ass fine under load only when first starting off. Maybe that's how they are but i think it slips. Mods are nothing crazy, air dog pump, rc injectors,1/2 inch lines, edge, banks intake, mbrp exhaust, that's all for hp adders

I have 2 of the duramax twin discs and a 3850 feramic in my dodge. Is yours the organic, ceramic or feramic? My feramic will slip a bit until it gets some heat in it, but the ceramics in the duramax have been great.

And twins usually sound like the throwout bearing is gone when you push the clutch in, if yours doesn't sound like that I'd be suspect to whether it is or not.

Probably worth a call To peter or manseil at south bend. They can probably tell you what's going on or point you in the right direction. The double discs are rebuildable as well, but you'd have to send it back to them to have it done.

Duramax has a slide in dump bed and yes I tow with it. The dodge used to drag a tandem dually gooseneck at around 450 hp and never had an issue. Also tows this without issue

Also tows this without issue I will contact south bend tomorrow, I could have burned the truck today. Had my hyro gooseneck with a good size boat on and when backing up the truck just wants to jerk and jump. 4low, 4high, 2wd don't matter. But starting off on a steep hill no prob, wants to spin the tires. Thinking about going with a stock napa clutch

No slip? It hooks up too much? hah, sucky for boats. maybe its too aggressive and meant to sledpull.
Doesn't sound like you need it, you need something closer to stock so you can feather the clutch.
