Black Rock is a great trail for your first run with a stock JK.

The Dartmouth Dodge event is Sunday, June 25. So you could do both.

I'm so torn lol. The Dartmouth Dodge car show is this Saturday too. How is that trail in a stock JK? The Show & Shine is on Sunday ... You could do BOTH! There may be some heading back Sunday morning to register for it.

Oh, though it was Saturday. That sounds good then. What is the black rock trail like? Mostly mud? Or lots of climbing. Climbing stuff mostly down, makes me a bit nervous, hated doing it in the dodge.

The BlackRock Trail was my 2nd run in a pretty stock WK (2" lift and 32" tires only) last year. It was an incredible day, starting with airing down before climbing a steep trail to the crest on North Mountain through a really easy trail section and then to a closer portion with a couple of tight turns and an off-camber section and finally out to Hall's Harbour for a lunch break. Back on the trail to the teeter-totter and a few sections that are a bit tight and steep and then some great scenery until you exit the trail. I have some pics on my FB page that you can see if you are on my friend's list.

And don't want to bang it up too bad so early on. And you can add me if you want. Nathan MacDonald. Just look for a silver Jeep profile pic.

Anyone have any idea on how many people are going? Im still not sure yet. Saw some videos of the trail, that a member sent me. And everyone had at least A/T tires, and still were having some trouble. It was from 2009, so I don't know if it is easier or not now. I'm not afraid of getting it dirty, Just its my Daily driver and I don't want to burn the piss out of it, trying to get some wheres on tires that can barely be called all seasons.

You should will be fine with your Jeep's stock tires. If not, there will be plenty of people there capable of giving you a tug here and there Shaun & Andrew are great trailmasters that will help teach you , spot you through if/when needed, along with others going on the run. People are always willing to help out.

Yea, I will go. I know if I don't. I will just regret it. Bit of a drive, so I might be a few minutes late getting there. Now to debate if I should go topless or not lol.
