Seen the first one, a little rough for what they want, they have another one but auto, The second one is kinda what i would go for holding for manual third and fourth are pretty far or I would definitely go see the XJ, the XJ brings a tear to my eye lol..very much like my old one, RC control arm drops do wonders for high short arm lifts on the XJ as long as you have adjustable uppers and lowers to reset the front end. (personal experience) my old XJ had some JK owners jealous how well it handled for such a lift. also seen this one www.autotrader.ca/a/Jeep/Wrangler/NINE+MILE+RIVER/Nova+Scotia/19_7264192_/?showcpo=ShowCPO looks in really good shape, auto also really low miles but no response when I ask for contact info. Maybe im too picky still being patient though, a deal will pop up when I am around to snatch it up im sure just figured some folks may have seen something off the beaten path somewhere, or know of someone who traded one in or something. Ya never know.

The Sahara looks pretty good the auto is nice for crawling around when wheeling but boring to drive.Don't know much about the sahara model if it comes with rear 44?Keep looking they come up everyday on kijji/autotrader so it will come.Be nice to enjoy the outdoors in it though now before snow flies.....

Yeah I did enjoy the auto in XJ for crawling around even with the 3.55's but I read a few places if you tow anything the Manuals in the TJ's are a little better dont heat up as much, not sure what truth there is to that, and I think the stock grearing in autos are better on the XJ than TJ's 307 is what seems to be the norms that paired with an auto would make it work pretty hard i think. I am sure something will pop up sooner or later, hopefully sooner. Ill keep my eye on kijiji and try not to miss out. lol..may have to drive in a rush for the "right" one is all.

That sahara looks pretty good but the old 3 speed autos in those jeeps would not be good for towing at all. Especially with bigger tires. At least not without a re gear to 4.88 or better. It should have a D44 in the rear unless it was swapped out.

just saying@ I have a 1997 tj sahara, 4.0lt 5 speed, 190 something kms, original housings Im thinking 3.73 gearing, lockrite locker in the front, full case locker in the rear 2''lift, shocks relatively new, 5 mickey thompson Baja 33x12.5x15 on black round hole window wheels spare is new other 4 are really good, close to new gas tank skid, swapped original arms out for I think rough country ones I have a hard top and a soft top, no AC. It needs work and im not getting into that if your interested best to come look, I drive it daily its solid I have fixed the rear of the frame it will not have to be fixed for a while. It has a sticker on it.The price would be determined like this the full case locker should be worth 400.00 the lockrite 200.00 the wheels and tires 1000.00 hard top 400.00 there you have 2000.00 1500.00 for the rest of the jeep and its yours, so im asking 3500.00 I would get more junking it keep in mind its a 97 and I have used it but it is not junk just saying I also have an 87 comanchee cheap

I saw a super clean black Sahara TJ in Kingston today with a for sale sign in the window.... it's parked beside Andy's Tire across from the Superstore. Completely stock. Unknown price. Really nice shape outside anyway...and a great chance of there being a D44 rear axle. Might be out of your price range because of it's condition .... dunno...

I've looked at it. Great condition Jeep but I can't remember the number. I'll take a toot by and have a better look at it and grab the number.
