Well i ordered the spacer from chryer, i tryed pulling the one from my parts jeep, snapped. Tryed taking the one from my brown jeep, bolts ceased. So my father offered to buy the spacer for me and ill pay him back when fishing season comes. So my question is now, is it a good idea to anti-cease the spacer or no? {spacer will be in thursday}

Can't hurt I guess. the dis-similar metals (bolts and spacer) will always corrode.

Did you try searching the part number of the spacer online for cheaper? That's a high price for a small piece of metal. When i needed a steering shaft for my durango, it was around $500 at scotia and other dealers...found the same part from a mopar parts site in the states, ended up costing me $220 to my door.

So now that i have internet and a computer at my disposal I can finally post pictures! And i also finally got my new radiator after having to wait two extra days because Saf-Way ordered a rad for a grand cherokee. like they do with every part i order "Oh you dont own a grand cherokee?" ... "DID YOU HEAR ME SAY GRAND AT ALL?!" [rant over.] Mabey this is why my jeep was taking so long to warm up? Annnnnd this thing. Cost this. Anywho rad is in and jeep is cooling nicely. Hopefully tomorrow I might be getting some techno explorers since my kelly safari's are literally falling apart.

I could be rich right now. I was going to charge you less than the tax you paid, for a steel one.

Hey kurama49, I only go to saf way as a last resort. Try CarQuest on GeorgeSt next time. Excellent service there. If you're looking for something oddball or hard to get, ask for Kim.

@ creepy & justajeep: I know but my parents made me get it from the dealer since they want it done "proper" they dont trust anything thats home made, dunno why but meh :/
@ C.B Renegade I know I useually go there to, but safway is literally like a block down from me in New waterford so it was more of a quicker to get there lol.
Anywho, I'm gunna see if i can borrow some money off my father and pay him back over the next few weeks so i can get some new tires today. I was out looking at my kellys and their getting really bad. and I'm scared of a rock puncturing through the tire, because thats the only thing i can think of thats causing the chunking. I havent been offroad in about a month, I've only been using the jeep for daily driver duties.

I don't know how the dealer guys sleep at night when they're charging rediculous prices on parts.
