A snorkle would be the last upgrade I would think of doing in our climate. Snorkles were originally designed for high dust areas like the Australian outback, picture driving down a dry gravel road and the dust that gets kicked up into the air. The higher the intake the less dust will collect on the filter. If you intend on buying it for deep water crossings you would need to "try" and seal all of the ignition system plus other electrical systems. As far as running 35" on stock Dana 30/35 setup, I ran this setup with OPEN DIFFS on two wranglers (one 4cyl and one 6cyl) with no problems. You just have to be aware that you could break something and be concious how much skinny pedal you use.
