Almost as bad as the middle of winter. Some dhrama is good to get things stirred up. Creepy and his mountain man beard are gonna chase the kids off the lawn soon. Sent from my GT-N5110 using proboards

forums are toast! just gliding to the grave here. Shame..... I think of this place as my water cooler.... I am self employed and it is cool to see what is happening in the Jeep world around NS. I have learned a lot on here and found some odds and ends that I have needed and not really needed on the sales threads..... Hope we can put some life in the old girl. We don't let our Jeeps die without a fight.

Oh yeah, its still helpful and the knowledge guys check in. I'm not complaining or anything, just saying things have evolved away from this type of forum, it's had its heyday.

Me and my DC2 will be the last standing forum member when the day comes. Seriously though, I wont drop any names but some of the tech info I read on the local facebook jeep groups is just absolute shit. To the point where some days I'm only a member to read the dumb tech suggestions.

That's why I don't post tech answers on facebook most of the time, too many people that think they know what they are talking about when they don't, and those of that do are ignored.
I saw the day you were getting a headache trying to get the right info acknowledged.

FB = everyone's opinion is equal...which doesn't really play out well for exchanging technical information.

FB is a social site, social means you have to play nice. Someone has always come along on this forum with the correct info and called out the bad. It's reliable.

That's why, for me anyway, the forum will always have a place as long as the tech guys check in.I try not to give tech advice outside my limited scope and access the experts before posting anything else. I'm lucky to have access to them and use them when needed. Any knowledge guy (to steal a phrase) that wishes to add their expertise to the Pirate Off Road Nation FB page (to name names) will be more than welcome to do so. On tech issues, your opinion counts and would make the page better. It's your tech opinions I gauge FB opinions against anyway, so why not have you on there as well.
ON the Optima topic, I had a YellowTop in my garage that was pretty low, we have it plugged in to charge at the GarageMahal and will update the thread when we have news.
