Can anyone recommend a good diesel mechanic? My WK CRD is acting up (codes: p0101 and p0401) and my usual local mechanic does not want to mess with the CRD. I dont really want to take it to the dealer so any advice on a good diesel mechanic (Closer to Bayers Lake the better) would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Carverad

I assume you know what the DTCs are: P0101=Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem, P0401=EGR System Failure (Required change in air/fuel ration not detected during diagnostic test). I've had the P0401 DTC on my Hemi and disconnected the EGR temporarily until I was able to replace it. It wasn't a big deal, but stick with the Mopar EGR, not aftermarket. My aftermarket one lasted about a month before the code came back, the Mopar one has been fine for over a year now. If you're looking for info on your WK, check out WKJeeps.Com and here is a link to the DTC page. wkjeeps.com/trouble_codes.htm
