As most of you know by now, Alan Justason had a severe accident with a tractor rollover a few weeks ago. Alan has now been moved from the QE II to the Digby Hospital and is recovering well. On Oct 24, we are running Tia's Trail, north of Kingston, for our Fall Crawl. We will be doing a 50/50 draw and have a get well card for all to sign. We are also looking at doing some raffle prizes, so bring lots and lots of money. This run is open to all Jeepers and the trail is stock doable, although tight and technical. If we have lots of rain between now and then, it could also be a very muddy and slick trail. Anyone wishing to donate a draw prize, please contact me. If you cannot make it, you can still purchase 50/50 tickets from me ($2 each, 3 for $5, 7 for $10) by sending me a PM or email: idraft87@gmail.com

Saturday was a perfect fall day on Tia's. We had 13 or 14 Jeeps that ranged from first timer in a totally stock JK (KO2 tires), an XJ on 31s (I believe), some nice YJs, TJs, Joe's JK (the Tank) and Tracy's JKU and I had the good fortune to lead in my WK with Mr. C as co-pilot. There was some mud and the off cambers where a blast, as usual. In one spot, a couple needed the assist of a winch. No real carnage until the end, and nothing serious. I recontoured my front bumper on a little tree coming up Lizzy's Lane and then popped a bead at the very end through a mudhole. The only other carnage, I believe, was a stock JK Willys which loosened a rear flair. We had a bunch of raffle prizes, thanks to David Outhouse, Bob Shay, and Tracy Peck, which raised $204.00 and the 50/50 raised another $214.50. Aaron Crossman, from North Nova won the other $214.50. So tomorrow, I'll stop in to see Alan at the Digby Hospital to give him another Get Well card and the proceeds from our Fall Crawl. Thank you to everyone who participated, it is greatly appreciated.
