Will this allow me to use a mechanical speedometer with obd1 and allow the pcm to read the information coming from the sensor properly? 1994 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0l, obd1, aw4 transmission.

You need to verify the pulse per min that the computer is expecting from the speed sensor. If that is a speed sensor from a late model Chrysler cruise control, then it " should" work.

I believe it came from a YJ, and I do believe that the XJ looks for the 8ppm
