Good day all!
I am having an issue with my HID lights. Its a bit of a long story but here it goes. After having jeep into the local garage to do breaks, I asked them to change the HID bulbs as well as I figured it would save me the time. No worries, they said.
A couple days and some rain later I noticed moisture in the drivers side headlight housing. Then the HID light started flickering when driving. I opened the hood and the cover for the HID buld was not on properly and it was letting moisture get in. So, I took out the buld, dried it out with a heat gun and replaced the bulb and cover properly. NO JOY. Headlight is dead. I tried 2 other bulbs. NO JOY.
Has anyone else had this issue? Is there any way of telling if the ballast is blown? Moral of this story: if you want it done right, dont get LAZY!!!
Thanks in advance.
