Yeah, this was 5:00pm yesterday, clear as a bell out. This guy is a contractor, buys a new 4x4 every year just to plow his private road.

There is no real reason for strobe lights on Jeeps. I am looking for a set for my plow vehicle. Only to be used when in the process of plowing.

Exactly Darrin. The strobes are great when they are used for their intended purpose. Its those people who use them just to get attention on the road that are the problem.
Another example of pointless use was this morning, some plumbing company truck with a cube trailer had amber strobing lights on the back of the trailer driving through city traffic this morning - why??
Like anything else that gets abused (ATVs for example), eventually it will get noticed and cause a problem for the ones who use them legitamately.
BTW - did you find a source for them?
