Looking for a set of 4 clear strobe lights. For my XJ. Can I just put these under existing light lenses? I was thinking in my backup lights and either headlights or parking lights. Make, model, price and delivery, Thanks.

have u tried Extension/APJ's?? Seems between Andre, Dave and Ray they can find some wierd had to find stuff!! Like tiny spinner hubcaps.... Also try Action truck caps on Akerly, they carry all kinds of crap and accessories for trucks, they might have something in stock. Also those ricer shops should have them too! Seems theyre about 4" long and u just drill hole to get the tube inside the housing and wire them up. HTH Justin

I've seen these on dsiplay at crapytire, they looked to be pretty bright, and diffrent colors(films you can slip over the light) RED and BLUE , seem to be a nice combination.

Hey Darrin,
I do not think we have access to strobe lights, I will have to check with our ricer division head, Creamof Someyoungguy, I will get back to you after I hear from him. I believe he is down covering a drifting competition in Yarmouth today, but should be back with weather permiting. His Honda does not handle the snow too well, due to the lowering kit, ground effects and air bag suspension...we may have to call out S.W.A.T. to get him. We have no trouble finding him however in white out conditions, the massive bass his stereo puts out is like a homing beacon!
Hey Justin, I am sure you probably do not know but Ray has no affiliation to Xtension 4x4. He does hang out with us, but Andre and I still are the owners.
I will get back to you Darrin, see what i can find, perhaps Big Six may be able to help in the mean time.

David There's the proper use for SWAT finding mobile speed bumps on the highway...LOL ...and yeah, just have 6 start his flashers and he can run just ahead of you - you know, break up the snow a bit to make it easy to plow...that kind of thing...LOL ***Just had a horrible mental image of Big 6 flashing...***

This may seem like a dumb question, but what is the purpose of installing the strobes on your Jeeps?

I don't know about Jeeps, but on trucks with plows the purpose it to flash them while driving down the road while not plowing anything. ;D
I was behind a Dodge 4x4 Dualy yesterday, he had at least 10 (no exageration) flashers on the rear of the truck and the utility box/cap, 5 yellow flashers down each running board, and more lights doing wierd things on the roof than an ambulance. I didn't see the front, but I'm sure everything was flashing up there too. Driving along an unplowed road in the dark following that was one of the most annoying experiences I've ever had.

People better start reading the MV Act. There are limits on lights and where they can be placed, with regard to color. No more than 2 driving lights, no more than 4 head lights, no rear projecting clear lights while mobile, etc. I'll wait to see what happens when someone has an accident. Thats when the rule book comes out and the tickets are written. In a snow storm with limited vis. Stropes are nice, clear day no snow and your a pimped up looking rig!! Then again this is from the man with 4 100 watt back up lights

At least you could see him. I'd rather someone see's me in a blizzard, than not being seen and hit because of it. If visibilty is not a problem, then there is no need to use such lights unless you were stopped in a bad spot, or plowing a parking lot.
