Hey all I am thinking of changing out the bushings in the rear springs as soon as I make the tool described in my Haines. Want to get ahold of some poly urethane ones. Can anyone here give me a quote and are there anyother colours than red & black? Would love to get yellow ones. If they make them that is.

What tool? Just use a hacksaw and cut them out. Way easier than trying to press them out with any tool. Our weather is not conducive to pressing out bushings.
As for replacements, I beleive EBM in Sackville can make replacement black bushings (don't know if they're poly or rubber) and prothane are available in black and red.
Yellow will just end up yellow and black after a few days of use anyway. Especially if you're using poly and grease them to keep them quiet.

Another thing... have you already tried getting out your main sping bolts? They're generally seized in there pretty good. Have the potential to be more of a pain than the bushings! Bill

Thanks for the quote Lance. Where is your shop located? Also Bill the bolts should be no problem because when I installed the lift in the fall I used new bolts. I may not be the tallest tree in the forest but I'm not the thickest either. lol ;D

Lance is down here in Kingston Chris...he seems to be pulling off some really good prices these days and there's usually someone from the Valley going into the city that can bring parts...also looks like Rhonda is going to be on IR at the Stad starting the end of the month...
