Thanks guy! I worked last night, so instead of sleep, I cut out the 1st taillight. I had traced the gromet... should fit right? Hell no. Took me about 2 hours of grinding, die grinding, jigsawing, test fitting about 10 times. Uh. Still a little tight, but there's nothing else holding it other then friction. I just hope paint and primer doesn't make it no longer fit. I'd get more done but we have some friends over for a playdate. Maybe more later... and I did take tomorrow off to get more done.

What I do for fitting those lights and grommets is trace an outline of the light, about 3/8 larger than the light. that usually makes a decent fit for me.
looks good, it's definately coming!

I was gonna but one ended up being too short... and I only made 8, but I'm not worried about it. After a quick boost from the car I pulled her out (he he he) to clean up and move her over Charging away after a quick clean up tucked in I hope I took everything out that I needed!

Took today off to work on 'er. Spent a solid 5 hours... though you wouldn't think. Pass side skinned Driver's side holes drilled, partially bolted up and marked for trimming

Thanks guys! This has been floating around in my head for a while, but alot of things had to fall into place before I could pull the trigger... and the new tires not fitting was the final straw. LOL
Jeff; I'm going as far back as the tank will allow. Should be around 5-6".
PS; the fenders cover 6"
