My mistake. (I mean at what I wrote above:) ) The Liberty will be replaced in 2 years by the new up-and-comming Jeep Patriot . At least that's what JP Magazine said. I haven't gone on Jeep.com to see what they said though.

I am not sure if this is the one but today I was looking through the latest JP mag (the one with the SWAT article). It said that in about 2yrs the Libby will be replaced and I think it was the commander that was doing it.

Its bad enough that the guy did the damage but to take off? That the kicker, was they guy and his girlfriend actually in the car when they got hit or did they see it happen while it was parked?

Wow there sure is alot of people who need some glass. I guess I can be counted as one of them too. Had a chip in mine sometime around January in the center of the windshield and now it has cracked up the center to the rear view mirror.

I have been on the trail recently and experienced situations where new members had not had any of this explained to them. I think a handout and optional speech at the beginning of a trail for newbies would be an excellent idea. Enos I agree with you on this one. I for one have not yet had the pleasure to go on a wheeling adventure with the club. Most of my experience is from low level rated type trails and from when I was a teenager with my old 79 Ford pickup. A refresher would definetly do me some good. ;D

Looking good Eddie. Though I don't think I should let Donna see this post. She has been hinting on getting a Wrangler for a little while now. lol

My wife hit a pole with the XJ a few years back and surpisingly not much damage either. 1 fender, a hood, bumper and a bit of lastic & lights. Pole was totaled though. As I once said Fords maybe built tough [glow=red,2,300]BUT JEEPS ARE TOUGH![/glow] ;D

I have to agree with Len & Kevin. The Jeep club is just that a "Jeep Club". Having other 4x4's is great (I owned a 98 Pathfinder before & liked the 4 wheel drive in it alot). There are a few other offroad clubs for other makes and a few that take all types. Just as the catchy slogan states "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand." ;D

I can't say that I like the look of it. If I was to go with a Toyota it would probably be the 4 Runner. But then again I wouldn't be driving my Jeep would I?

Mine is at 330 000. Do these 4.0's go on forever?

Hey Len a few cool places in P.R. you can check out are: The Black Angus in San Juan - really old bar, dark but has lots of history. Bacardi Rum Factory - awesome taste testing room at the end of the tour. Rain Forest Tour - a spectacular view of a 100' or so water fall, big ass trees. Bring lots of water & bug juice. Papa Joes - a sports bar just out side Roosevelt Roads Naval Station has the best Shisk-a-bobs in the world everyone calls them "Dog-ka-bobs". But don't call them that to the old lady who sells them. She hates that nick name they got. I know that some of my suggestions are of bars & drinking. But I am in the navy! ;D I will be experiencing the same sort of weather soon when I spend the last weekend in February in sunny Bermuda, I will be working though an hour or two in the forenoon then hit the beach. ;D ;D
