I don't think you are going to have to worry about putting enough power down to breaK a limited slip d35. And google is your friend when it comes to the difference between axles. I searched "d35 vs 8.25 snout length". I clicked on the first link to come up, and it had the answer. So I wont tell you.

By using a snatch block, you are pulling with a 2:1 ratio. For every foot of line winding onto the drum, the rig is only being pulled 6". That effectively doubles the amount of pull force.

Used to be Kirby's Jeep before Pettipas bought it. it was orange. I saw it on the road on its way to pettipas, the clutch was burnt out on it, so it likely has a new clutch.

If my memory is half as good as I hope it is, I wanna say i used to get commercial truck driveshafts (highway tractors and the like) cut and balanced from Armstrong's for like $75. (Rue, can you confirm this?) Half the time you end up paying that much just for a used driveshafts, and you still have to rebuild it anyway.

I had to borrow a backhoe from one of my neighbor's so I could finish plowing my driveway yesterday. We had a 4' high snow bank at the end of the driveway, and 3' of snow over almost half of it. I got the snow pushed back enough so I can shovel and snow-blow a few more snows.

Linkage might have a little slack in it, so it wasn't entirely engaged.

Now that you own a Jeep it's time to learn how to paint, wrench, lift, swing a hammer, curse and drink heavily. My drinking club has a wheeling problem Powdercoat !! Dave ( tryKountykustums ) here on the board tricountykustomz.com/joomla/

Generally, if you have to return the core or pay a corecharge, you are getting a remanufactured unit, new units generally don't require a core.
