ok, lets start this up. it's Dec. 1 !!!
from previous discussions, we'll be trying to put at least two runs together.
one for everybody, probably out around Chapel Rd power lines/loch lomond area. this trail is the usual powerline style, moderate road thru the middle, rocks on the sides.
and a run for more built rigs, maybe up to the highlands. Mudmagnet, Dale, me on that one so far. there IS snow up there already, so your going to have to be more prepared than stock. We're not being exclusive, we just want to challenge our rigs. muddy likes to roll, and Dale's rig is a monster chev 454 on 40" boggers. my rig is small to those guys. just for reference.
these are not nsjc club runs, all are welcome. this is just a good place to organize.
also, i'd like to run thru from east bay hall thru to marion bridge. i did east bay hall to meadow's pit a few weeks ago, it's really easy, and cool for stockers. I need more info on the east bay to marion bridge, if it continues to be the same easy type of trail.

I still have yet to find another XJ/ZJ that I want to buy.Even if I do the chances of it being modded before these runs is small. I may have to bum a ride with someone hint, hint if I'm off. My JEEP is on the operating table today. I'm getting the intake manifold gasket replaced, power steering pump puked taking the serpentine belt with it. I was getting used to the spark knock and whining/whirring pump but my wife...she not so much ;D

well i'll have to get my zuki running again by then...... ;D i was actually thinking about just pulling that motor out and and starting on the diesel swap....... :ooops said too much, its all hush hush from now on ;D..... i'll play around with it this weekend and see if i can get it to run right and get the exhost and motor mount fixed from the last flop.... if it runs right then i'll go, if not then i'm not putting the other factory motor in, i'll start winter build....and jan, as for the highlands run i think carl will be there too, 85ish full size blazer with 1 tons built 350 and 40" mickey thompson's.... and for the highlans run i'm going to cover my buggy in plastic to keep some heat in..... pick up some vapour barrier from work and make it into a little sweet hut..... ;D i'll let ya know if things go well.... also jan i wouldn't mind playing on the rocks out on hte cow bay pole line, see if we can map out a decent course down there.... i always wanted to map that out but no one would ever come out...

I got a yj 33's, lockers, broken winch, and a garage full of nice parts that I'm lacking the time to put on the heep. I got a very nicely built 360 and some 38'' Boggers that would make a snow run a lot more fun but what can you do.

behind wal-mart, going to "gilholms lake", you enter the trail off the 125 right beside a littel ranch style property.... about 1km from the light by walmart... sound farmiluar now? theres a decent little section of rock right at where the trail crosses the pole line that pretty interesting but idonno whats up or down on the pole line....

yeah the trails start at the top of my road, and if you want mud, well i'll show you mud......lol.... theres really all for rocks though, one little man made section but its not worth bring anyone too.... good for a board evening..... i like it cause i don't need to tow the rig to it, just jump in the zuki and drive up to the trail... wish there was good rocks there though. and as for the cow bay, yeah al could drive the cj to there, just jump on the old tram-line behind his house and it will come out on the new spar road then take the spar that 1km to the trail.... if we do go there i donno if i'll even use a trailer, might just flat tow it.... anyways give me a shout when you get in town or take a drive out the house, i'll be around after 5:30 weekdays.....

oh and jan i just noticed your "i need more info on east bay to marrion bridge".... it does go right through, but its tight and rough, be prepared to be scratched alot, one DEEP water crossing, prob over 31-33"s this time of year, and a almost stright rock ledge about 2 feet high on the marrion bridge side of the river.... all in all not a hard trail, but you need about 31"s an not afraid to get scratched.... that rock you can get up with open diffs and a normal approach angel but you have to have your tires placed just right and it might be hard to see with the water.... you will have no problem but i wouldn't bring a stock grand through
