From antother thread; "Its a 670hp merlin with a fti 2 speed shorty powerglide capable of handling 1600hp. The rockwells have 2'' ouverson shafts, king coilovers, profab case and 1550 driveshafts. 54'' boggers for the rocks and 57'' tractors for the mud. The truck is built for the mud, but I will try it in the rocks. Im planning on lots of roalovers. Its going as low as i can but it hard using toploaders. It should be a fun little rig, that is the plan anyway." In case you don't know 540Rock, he's an awesome fabricator/ mechanic, and insane driver. I've seen his rig with 54" Boggers going from spining forward, to spining in reverse and back several times without stopping, or breaking. Can't wait to see what he's gonna do with something he's not affraid to roll. Pics and captions from Facebook Rockwells dont like mud and water. With old seals. more mud used as grease time for new wheelbearings. Yet another bearing bad from a little to much mud and water. Diff going in for a mohawk. hopefully alot more clearence. all aluminum jeep body. front clip parts. It already has some cage work done. It will need much more. Merlin 540 I hopeing for more power than the 6.0l Rear bumper. Floor will need to be cut for the transmission. I wanted it higher, but no room. One heavy duty engine mount. another gusset.

Those first pics are the reason that I don't play in the mud very much....YUCK!!!
So are these the axles and tires out of the mud truck?Should be an interesting build.

I always liked the spinning into a round bale.
It's fair to say this thing will get used.

So are these the axles and tires out of the mud truck? Yes they are. I think they're both spooled. Detroits didn't hold up.

for a big rig, yeah. A smaller chassis on say 38's might be 105-115.

It should be about 115'' wheelbase. The floor will be about 55'' high, and 38" under the belley. I will be running the hubs flipped out for more width. It is 102" wide from the outsides of the tires. It will take a little more bark off the trees than most do. Would 49 irocks be better in the rocks than the 54 boggers. The 49s are alot wider.
