The Irocs would be better in all situations but mud.

Good to know. My 54s are pretty well wrecked. The scoops are all riped and worn off.

at 102" wide, you aren't going to have very good luck on any of the trails around. they aren't designed for rigs that width. how wide would you have it if you didn't flip the hubs?

at least 6" at each corner. so about 90'' or high 80s. What are most people that are running 1 tons for width.

It should be about 115'' wheelbase. The floor will be about 55'' high, and 38" under the belley. I will be running the hubs flipped out for more width. It is 102" wide from the outsides of the tires. It will take a little more bark off the trees than most do. Would 49 irocks be better in the rocks than the 54 boggers. The 49s are alot wider. Damn!! still going to be a big bitch.Your belly is going to be higher than my seat.I think if it was mine I'd try and get it a bit lower,115" WB and flip the hubs flipped in.The trails down this way are tight,we made them that way to force you over the rocks...LOL. Your big ass boggers will work fine in the rocks.Might want to take a grooving iron to the large lugs. That make the tire flex better and give you a bit of lateral grip.Get a set of bead locks and air them suckers down, and they'll wrap around and over most to the rocks that we can't get over.I don't think that it should be that tippy if you get your suspension setup right. You'll have alot of unsprung weight to help keep you up right. That is a big ass truck! Your seat will be taller than the top of my buggy! I know Ray only had 44's on his truck last year but how wide/tall was he? He could run high voltage but the other trails would be too tight I believe. But would love to see it!

I will probly keep it that hight. When i go out in the rocks i will flip my hubs. You still have to remember that this truck is being built mainly for the mud. I will have to take off my tractor tires to put on the 54s, so flipping the hubs is only a 2 hr job. Does anyone make thier own bead locks, My wheels are 20'' by 14 wide. Dont think they would be cheap. Thanks for the info.

You should PM Creepy and see what he'd charge to cut out some rings.
as for flipin your hubs for the rocks,it might be easyer to to move the centers in the bogger rims.A bit of work now,but it would a lot nicer to just switch wheels and tire than having to flip hubs too.

Rue I may be able to keep the hubs wide and flip my wheels. they are military centers so they are wedged on both sides. Is there a thread on here for making beadlocks. Did you mean put a ring on the outside of the wheel. that would just strenthin up the wheel. Im new with beadlocks, i never needed them.

Shawn, I have a feeling when you get a taste of rock crawling you'll forget all about mud I remember a day many years back when I asked "what the hell would I wanna drive on rocks for?? I don't get it!!"...Once I got a taste of rock crawling and the adrenaline it produced I didn't care if I ever touched mud again!! Jeff

I figure I will try this rock thing out. I never even thought about a jeep, then one day i came across an aluminum jeep body and said that would be fun with a 540 and rockwells. And here i am a jeeper. I do see one little problem. I love speed.

The fear of rolling off a hillclimb makes up for the lack of speed. kinda the same feeling, a big adrenalin shot!
