The 33s will look like a grocery cart with 5" lift and those flat flares. The whole thing as a whole looks HAWT. Looking forward to seeing it all in action... That's exactly what Jeff mentioned yesterday too. Too bad there wasn't some way to "pre-view" it (like a build-your-Jeep software program) before ordering parts. Thanks for the feedback though guys - I appreciate it!

Chris' KM2 thread the other day showed 35 KM2s with that 4" x series lift and stock flares. tons of room. unless he's got some extra lift under there somehow. dunno.
either way, congrats on your build-to-be. you sure deserve a bigger rig.

I have always had good luck with BDS. Thats what is Hunt 13s ride. Over 6 years now. I just put BDS arms in the JK.

have you considered cutting out the front frame crossmember and dropping the 8274 between the frame rails?
lower winch=lower center of gravity, lower angles on pulls, more rad airflow, less ugly.
looks like new shocks in the roughcountry kit?

Maybe look at a 3" BDS kit? Even though I'm starting with 33's, when it comes time to replace the tires, it would be nice to have the option to put on 35's, especially since I work from home and the Jeep is not used for commuting or anything. If I'm not mistaken, Jeff's PS (before the latest build) had a 4" susp. lift + 1" body lift, and he was running 33" TrXus. This looked pretty good to me - the tires didn't look too small, but he did have the stock flares on it too. I'll have to wait til he gets on the board and reads this to confirm that, but I'm pretty sure that's what he was running. I need the body lift apparently to accommodate the belly-up skid. If I do this lift and put the 33" TrXus on and it looks goofy, I can forego putting money into bumpers and get 35's instead. This is great getting everyone's feedback though - better than going out, installing all the parts and then getting the feedback! Cheers, Cindy

I'd say pass on the body lift unless you really need more space. the rest will be very nice.

I'm not sure on this Jan...any pics to paint a nicer picture?? James...we sat there, WTF is a "TT"...jus figured out...Alan is doing the tummy tuck, if that's what "TT" means and yes, I was running 5" lift w/ 33's and flat tube fenders and looked great...I think it will look awesome, even with the flat panel flares. For the past year that Cindy and I have been seeing each other we haven't even come close to an arguement but I can see that changing in the future when we argue who gets the next Jeep mod lol She is sooo excited and I am soooo happy for her...yes, she deserves it after waiting this long to lift it!! I found this thread on another board about the 4" RC lift + 1" BL and the guy is running 33's. Check out the pics of the blue TJ: www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=682467I think it looks awesome! Whatever he's using for flares, maybe something like that would be a better option for me than the flat panels? Let me know what everything thinks. Cheers, Cindy

Do you want the flares for coverage? Or clearance?
I say go with the flat style. Who cares if you're wheel openings are a little big. More room for flex!
