The 6" bushwacker flares should be good for 33's. I ordered a set a while back, im just waiting for my friend to bring them to me from the US. My 33's stick out past my rubicon flares about 1.5-2" so the extra 1.5" of coverage from the bushwacker flares should be just about right.

Parts should be here this week (I hope) ;D Couple of changes to the plans: Detroit TrueTrack is going in the front; TDog's lockrite is going in the rear; Wayne (the driver of the red YJ in our Springhill wheeling photos - "The Beast") is building me a bumper like the one below, with a steering box skid and an 8274 winch plate. I think I'm going to go with a black winch plate rather than body color though: and instead of a winch bar Malcolm (MLC) is going to make a stinger for it. Wayne is also going to be doing some custom fab work to my black steel rims with some homemade fake beadlocks. He did up a set for himself and they look awesome. Other changes to the plan: Upgraded my shocks Upgraded my steering stabilizer Upgraded my trackbar Got a set of rocker guards for a good deal but they're flat, no tubing. Kevin (KAC) is gonna make my winch look purdy and he's also gonna chop my driveshaft for me. Oh and one last thing: I'm still going with Amsteel 3/8" winch rope but hope to be able to get this nice green color to go with my eventual "camo" theme: I'm excited but it doesn't feel like it's ever going to happen - kind of like I'm still in the "dream" stage. Once I have the parts my excitement level will pick up, I'm sure! Cheers, Cindy

Jeff's over at Wayne's right now and he's got a mock-up done of my bumper in cardboard. Jeff said it looks awesome - he's going to bring it home for me to see it to make sure I like it before he starts building it. I'll take some pics of the cardboard bumper when he gets home later today.

Ok - here are the pics of the design stage of my bumper - the cardboard mock-up. Jeff held it up to my Jeep but he had already put the tow hooks back on it so it didn't sit right, but you can get a general idea of what it's going to look like: Cheers, Cindy

You sure he lined that up with his good eye? LOL Looks good. No stinger? LOL - Yeah I know he held it up crooked, but I got the idea. Yes a full stinger (hood height) is coming once the main bumper is built (which he's going to start tonight). He doesn't have a bender though so it will be going to MLC's for the stinger. Then off to Hfx to get it powder-coated.

Here is the next stage of the bumper - it has progressed from cardboard to steel, tack welded together: The dropped winch deck will allow the 8274 to sit 2" lower than a standard bumper, lowering center of gravity and increasing airflow to the rad. Once the winch plate is attached there might even be room in the recessed part for a pair of offroad lights.

Here are my rims (still need to get one more for a spare) - if anyone has a 15x8 black steelie they want to sell please let me know). The bead "looks" are fabbed by Wayne. Got another center cap on the way.

Very clean looking fake-locks! You should paint them camo now tho My buddy built these rims from regular steelies, put the ring on and tapped all the bolt holes so the bolts can be unscrewed to clean or paint...with his top notch fab skills I'm hoping that he's gonna start making us some real beadlocks soon! The body lift and motor mount lift is all in...I didn't take any pics yet, not really much to see but a one inch lift! Jeff
