Well the old girl has given 9 years of faithful service, but time and hard wheeling has taken the toll.. she is cracking apart none of the doors line up ect. So it is time to replace the chassis, I found a very suitable donor body and now the fun begins... Here my baby in her glory!! and the new chassis it's had a battle of it's own as you can see but it is very very solid... Here they are sitting together .. she got a nice long final drive down to Alan's, Kinda looks like we are taking a moment of silence for the old girl!!! Now the engines are ready to come out and be swapped!! More to come in the next couple of weeks...

So that's what a factory XJ floor looks like. Last minute builds are the best ones. Hard to believe how long we've been around here, I remember the first one.

Yeh the original has been built and rebuilt!! It looked like that one inside when I got it... hard to believe it's a 25 year old jeep!!! well ok no it's not... went from a 2.5 to a 4.0 axle swaps, t-cases explding, 9 sets of tires, and a long long list of minor changes as well!!...if I have time I will dig up a bunch of old pics to show her history!

Changing the trans in Enos' too. Hopefully, we'll have to see how the finances are, Matt is heading to Quebec on a school trip tomorrow so he's taking a lot of the available funds.
