Well lately its been like Christmas around here with receiving all my parts I've been ordering. 2 RCI poly seats and 5 point harnesses. Lots of switches, master disconnect switch, 5" tach with shift light (useless for me I know), Oil pressure and volt gauge ( temp gauge not in yet) Hurst shifter (used). Orbital valve and double ended ram for the steering.

Andy started my chassies last night and this is how he made out. First thing was to get the drivetrain up on the table. This sets the drivetrain at ride height which is 20" at the skid. Then started to bend some tube. The main rails mocked in place. Then I bent the front cross member/winch mount. The front rails are not cut to the correct length yet. Stuck the seat in place to help me "visualize". made up some tube supports. Then added the rear cross member. Bent up the outer chassis rail. And started adding floor supports.

Ah, no waiting for pics! I like it, instant gratification. lol
How wide are the main bars? looks pretty wide, gave me trouble in the front. iirc, mine was 30" to outsides. Toy's tho. Your axles are full width?

Man, I like watching one of these builds come right along. Nice work and seems like you have a lot of the planning done in advance.

I went down to Andy's place tonight to help out on the Buggy Build. Andy gave me the job of assembling the front clip so he can visualize and measure for the tubing. So I spring into action and quickly assemble the fenders and hood and tack them all together so its easier to handle. Then it was on to the 9" cutting off the old spring perches and shock mounts. Wont be needing them any more. Lots of dust in the air, making the pictures turn out funny. All cut off now just have to clean it up. Andy stood around and talked all night , but he did manage to bend up some pipe. He made the B pillar bars and the lower skid bars for later installments. We installed the front clip and set the wheelbase to 110 and stuck some 35" tires up against it to get a visualization on what she going to look like.
